Park City’s Top Fly-Fishing Spots, Guides, and Tips
Lower Provo River provides great opportunities for brown and rainbow trout. Depending on the location and style of fishing, you can also catch some whitefish. You can access the Lower Provo River from several access points from US Highway 89.
Weber River runs from the Uinta Mountains down to a little north of Salt Lake City. The river is hailed for its diversity of fish. Along the river and its tributaries, you can find brown and rainbow trout, whitefish, and Bonneville cutthroat trout.

Strawberry Reservoir is one area of Utah where you could land a monster fish. Only an hour from Park City, Strawberry reservoir is home to Bear Lake cutthroat trout, rainbow trout, and kokanee salmon. Most of the fishing here is done by boat, but in the fall and spring, you can fish on the shores with success.
