Kimball Art Center
What started as a humble operation in an old garage transformed into an incredible community art center and cultural hub for Park City. The Kimball Art Center features a range of excellent exhibitions. There are artist-focused displays as well as thematic presentations that focus on a genre, country, or medium.
Despite the vast improvements and expanded grounds, admission for the center has remained free since its conception. While there are fascinating exhibits year-round, we suggest attending the Park City Kimball Arts Festival. Held every year in the first week of August, this event has been bringing tens of thousands of visitors to the city for almost 50 years. The center is open Monday to Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday from noon until 5:00 p.m.
Julie Nester Gallery
If you’re staying near the Iron Horse district, this is the perfect stop! The Julie Nester Gallery is a contemporary gallery that showcases a range of modern artists from all over the United States and Canada.
