Below are three local-approved spots to see Park City fall foliage. We recommend visiting these destinations between mid-September and early October, as fall colors in high altitudes are fleeting. Don’t miss your chance to see some of the most beautiful views of the year in Park City, Utah! 

1. Park City Mountain Resort  

Park City Mountain Resort is best known as a winter destination thanks to its amazing ski runs. Did you know that it’s also a great place to visit in the fall? This all-season resort is one of the best places for mountain biking in Park City! Cycle to the top of mountain peaks to enjoy Park City fall colors, or take a scenic ski lift ride to view panoramic views of our area’s fall foliage. 

2. Guardsman Pass Scenic Byway 

Guardsman Pass Scenic Byway is one of the best Park City scenic drives. Out-and-back, this drive takes about two hours, although it will likely take longer with stops along the way. This route travels through the backcountry of Park City, which boasts excellent views of red and orange flora. It also connects with Big Cottonwood Canyon, just a dozen or so miles south of Salt Lake City.
